Easy stay, great location

Hilton Garden Inn Portsmouth Downtown

I have stayed here for work, and brought my 50 lb Goldendoodle with me. The rooms show a bit of wear, which is honestly not a problem. We stayed a full week and the pet fee was still just $75 (I have have numerous long stays at Hiltons that should have triggered the $125 fee, but I’ve only ever been charged $75). Upon check-in, they offered bowls for the room and had treats at the front desk. They also gave me a sheet with all the types of local stores and locations that are great for dogs (parks with off leash, actual dog parks, pet stores, vets, etc). My pup was the only dog staying, and after a day or so they put away the treats, which was kind of sad (we hadn’t stopped by for them in those 24 hours, so maybe that was why). But overall, I’ve had an easy time at this hotel with him (and will be back multiple times this summer with him).

Super pet friendly!

Canopy by Hilton Philadelphia Center City

I stayed with my 50 lb doodle back in October, and the staff loved my him! He was given treats daily, and they allowed him to walk through the restaurant with me to get to the patio for food and drinks. They provided a water bowl for him, and gave me a handful of treats to give him while I ate. Overall, one of the best experiences I have had while traveling with my dog! My one note is that there isn’t much grass in the area, and the nearest dog park is a 15-minute walk. My dog is a city dog and had no problem with this, but worth noting if your dog needs grass.
