Hit or miss

This is my third or fourth stay here. It's not fancy and subject to staffing issues. But my last days were much more comfortable. I think maybe I had gotten a king size room? This time I was in a room with the fire alarm that it looks like they beat it down trying to get to the battery or something, with wires exposed, a lot of water damage, a musty smell, and when the neighbor took a shower the whole hallway made such an awful noise like when trains are coupling or something. This is definitely hit or miss.
