Star treatment for your dog

The Heathman is beautiful, clean, and the location in the theater district is one of the safer areas in downtown Portland. The staff was cheerful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Bruno, my poodle, got lots of loving. There's a bubbling water fountain our front for your pooch. There's even a room called the library where you can sit with your dog and get food from the restaurant. Would have been a five bone experience except for a couple of minor things. The water in the shower took forever to get warm and never got really hot. There was confusion among the staff on how to order food in the library. I ended up having to take the dog into the restaurant to order, which I think would be a problem if it had been busy. There were extra charges for things I didn't use (like the gym, bike rentals, phone and newspaper). But Bruno had no complaints on his stay.
