Very dog friendly
Ashland Hills Hotel & SuitesWe have stayed here 3 times in the past few years. Overall it’s a great experience - staff is very friendly and helpful. What I like best is that the dog rooms are all on the first floor and the rooms have a sliding glass door out to the grassy area, so it’s easy to have your dog go potty. The buffet breakfast has a wide variety of options for healthy eaters (yogurt, hard boiled eggs) and those who like heartier fare (waffles, etc). A nice benefit is that they sell bottles of wine and cans of beer at the front desk - great if you’re arriving late like we typically do. The decor is mid-century modern. The hotel is super close to the highway so convenient if you’re traveling. Safe parking - well lit. Mini fridge in room. Only negative is that sometimes you can hear people walking in rooms above but the positives far outweigh that and it’s a great value overall and we will return.
