Exceptional Stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Galena with my family and our furry friend. This quintessential bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff who made us feel right at home. We were given a tour of the property, which is a beautifully restored historic manor house with elegant and cozy rooms. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the fireplace that added to the cozy atmosphere of the room AND the clawfoot bathtub.

What really sets Hotel Galena apart is its pet-friendly policy. Our dog was treated like a valued guest and had a blast exploring the surrounding area with us. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and filling. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including fresh fruit, homemade muffins, and a hearty egg dish.

The location of Hotel Galena is also a big plus. It's conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Galena, which has a plethora of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Overall, our experience at Hotel Galena was exceptional. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Galena.

Miss Kitty is My Animal Spirit

My family and I recently visited Miss Kitty's Grape Escape in Galena, and we had an amazing time. Not only is the lounge cozy and welcoming, but their food and drinks are top-notch. We started off with the bruschetta, which was expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and served on perfectly toasted bread. The flavor combinations were delicious and left us wanting more. We also tried some of their signature cocktails, and they were truly out of this world. The bartenders here are true mixologists who take pride in creating unique and flavorful drinks. I especially loved their grapefruit martini, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. What really impressed us was how accommodating and friendly the staff was towards our furry friend. Miss Kitty's Grape Escape is a pet-friendly establishment, and our dog was welcomed with open arms. They even had a special doggy treat! The atmosphere of the lounge is cozy and warm, with comfortable seating and soft lighting. It's a perfect spot for a date night or a night out with friends and family. Overall, our experience at Miss Kitty's Grape Escape was fantastic. The food was delicious, the drinks were expertly crafted, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
