Nice stay

They put pets on the 3rd and 4th floor, so it’s good to call ahead and let them know you are bringing a dog. The staff was super sweet to our dog, but also seemed a bit unprepared in that they had to look around to find her a dog bed and bowl (which the website says they provide) before delivering to us within 15 minutes. Downtown has lots of cute patios and plazas where you can bring dogs (San Pedro Square and Scott’s Seafood are where we went). Pro tip: Park in the 50 West parking structure for ~$24/day just a few blocks away. The lobby is an absolutely gorgeous place to hang out at all hours of the day. True, the rooms are small, but you are in the Westin at downtown San Jose, so get out of your tiny room and enjoy this beautiful hotel and city!
