Older but good
SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Yucca Valley Joshua TreeOlder rooms and we were on the third floor (with no other options with the dog). Our pup doesn’t like elevators and is getting old so the stairs are a little tough but we made due. Big rooms, average town, Mexican restaurant next door. It was good for our road trip stop after seeing Joshua Tree and not having to spend $$ in Palm Springs.
Awesome "secret" hideaway!
Best Western Inn at Face RockThis place was not what I was expecting coming into town during our road trip. We had our own "townhouse" style room with a patio directly to outside. The grounds were great, service wonderful and the breakfast was huge. Oh and there is private access to the beach (5 min walk). A really nice surprise for our last night on the road.
Ocean view
Anchor Beach InnCan’t go wrong with the ocean view! The hotel is older but the rooms were clean and renovated (could use touch up work), but honestly for the view it was great.
Nice stay
La Quinta by Wyndham FlagstaffLa Quinta is turning into one of my favorite pet-friendly hotels. Gym was small but nice and clean. Good breakfast, big and quiet room for people and our German Shepard.
Easy outdoor access
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Morgan Hill-San Jose SouthWe got a room close to outside and the grassy potty areas. Nice big room, close to chain restaurants (walking), great gym, and even better breakfast!
Great place!
Hotel Santa FeNot the cheapest ($20 pet fee, $20 resort fee, taxes etc) BUT it was quiet, in a great location, had a little balcony, and the wood fires in the restaurant area made the place smell great (not too strong). Dog got a treat and it was easy to take her out for a walk. Would definitely go back!
