Very pet friendly
Sonesta Simply Suites Nashville BrentwoodNothing fancy, but a nice well-equipped room, friendly staff, and an excellent location for staying with our dog. There is a very nice walking trail in back of the property with wooded areas and a pond.

What’s not to like?
Harry T's LighthouseExcellent seafood, dog friendly seating on covered deck with a view of the harbor, friendly staff, good service — what’s not to like? The only thing is the cost of parking. The restaurant is located in Harborwalk Village, a walk-only area along the harbor, where the parking costs $20. Might be worth it if you are spending a day in the Village, but a little pricey for just an hour or two to eat dinner.

Pretty seedy
Red Roof Inn & Suites Athens ALHotel is old and run down. However, the room was fairly clean, bed was comfortable, and no pet fee was a plus.
