Your dog will love it and so will you

The Drake hotel is located at the end of the magnificent mile portion of Michigan avenue so it is a bit of a walk to get down to the river but not bad (20 minutes). What I loved about the Drake Hotel is that there is a public park right outside the rear entrance of the hotel right across the street. This was perfect for puppy potty time even in the middle of the night. The hotels ground level is were all the shops and restaurants are located, and there is a rear secured exit/entrance that you can use with your room key anytime of day. Plenty of grass, trees, walkways and a large open space to walk your dog and to allow it to do it's business when nature calls. Not many downtown Chicago hotels have the close proximity to a park like the Drake. We stayed in a king deluxe room which has about 400 sqft, so there was plenty of room to setup a crate and feeding station and plenty of room for run around and fetch time in the room.
