Great Park With A Weird Location
Anderson Downtown Dog ParkThis dog park is located right off the road, not inside a park. I’ve never seen a stand alone dog park. The dog park itself is great! Lots of trees and large enough to run around. There is a lot of road noise, which my dog didn’t like.

When It’s Hot I’d Rather Not!
Dog Park at Northeast Regional ParkNo shade other than a tiny picnic table with cover. The only space for water is right next to it, and was guarded by another dog. The grass is beautiful and the park is well maintained. It looks like they recently planted oak trees, so there should be shade in about 5 years.
