Do not stay here

First, two reservations were booked in error. However, the hotel refused to refund the second booking. So I paid twice for a really crappy hotel. Second, this is such a run-down, dilapidated hotel. The carpet in the room is disgusting, it was not cleaned, someone had used the toilet before I arrived, the room was stuffy and smelled of cigarette smoke. I had to open the window for fresh air, but it didn’t have a way to keep out intruders (there weren’t any) so I didn’t feel safe. I was exhausted after a long drive and just wanted to sleep. On the bright side, no bed bugs. Trust me, I had to check.
