An Oasis on I-5
Best Western Apricot InnWe have two dogs and an older electric car (which is to say, limited range). They put us in a ground floor room so that charging the car was feasible.
The west side of the San Joaquin Valley is rather bleak, but these folks were kind and accommodating.

100% Pet Friendly Hotel
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Santa Clarita - ValenciaEvery room is pet friendly, AND the pet fee is a flat $20. Hooray for civility!
