Ok for a night, not a week.

I was spoiled by a wonderful Super 8 I stayed at in Yreka, CA. This one in Arcata is basic as best. Furniture is very old, rooms are quite small, and there's just one green strip to take a dog outside, and there are transients outside the motel at almost all times of day. Everything works, and it was clean, but this is a zero amenities motel. It is, however, located next to a strip mall with a grocery store, and several decent restaurants.

Ok for an overnight stay

Super 8 Grants Pass

This particular Super 8 is a basic motel. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke, and the AC was aimed directly at the bed, so either you were hot or cold, never comfortable. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
