Free Parking and Dog Friendly

Went there with my boyfriend and pug for the afternoon on Memorial Day weekend. Park staff was friendly and verified there was a parking spot available for us before we passed through the entrance gate, since the Lot Full sign was up. Dogs need to remain leashed but since my pug doesn't swim he did just fine in his beach chair while my boyfriend and I swam in the lake. Plenty of shade, picnic tables and grassy areas surrounding the shore. Shoreline was a bit rocky and water shoes would have been nice but we still had a lot of fun swimming and tossing a football in the water. Highly recommend.
