Call ahead

So we called ahead to double check, made it clear our dog we were bringing is not a service or ESA, they didn't say anything about not bringing her, we get her, the hostess was super nice but said that they dont normally allow non service dogs, which is fine, except when we called probably should've told us that. They let us eat outside with Bella, but an employee stopped by and was super creepy and said huh what's your dog here for? I dont see a vest, and then proceeded to say it was weird she was here and that we would bring her...everyone else has been awesome but that dude was rude and creepy as all get out. No one asked us to leave or to take her to the car, she was super good like normal. If it wasnt for that one employee I would have given them at least a 4...restaurant probably should decide what they allow, and also should probably make sure their employees are not rude and creepy.
