Best Red Roof
Red Roof Inn Fredericksburg NorthI stay in many Red Roofs when I travel with my dog. This is the best one. Newly renovated, clean, friendly service. Quiet, away from the road. Great value.

Sleep Inn & Suites Sheboygan I-43If they tell you at the desk that their computer is not working, don’t walk away, RUN. I had booked for a Wednesday and Thursday but decided to stay and extra night, Friday. When I asked for the Friday rate, I was told “can’t tell you, our computer isn’t working”. I assumed it would be the same price as the first two nights. WRONG. When I checked out on Saturday morning they could or would not tell me the rate either. “can’t tell you, our computer isn’t working”. So, what is the bill? Their answer was you will know when you get your visa bill. Surprise, it is double what you thought. Ok, so they took me for $100.
Here is the rest of the story.
There was no wi fi while we were there. You go for breakfast in the morning and there are no coffee or juice cups. The attendant at the front desk, who is alone, has to leave her post because there is no one else there to help. She can’t find any cups. Ask if there is a supervisor, she says he is in Milwaukee. My advice. Book ahead and bring your own coffee cup, the rooms are ok.
