Very Average Stay

The pros: close to highway exit and many restaurants and major stores very close by. Lots of grassy areas to walk your dog. The cons: this Marriott property is very spartan and looking a little tired. Our room had nicks and chips off molding, the headboard, etc. OK place to stay, but not comfortable.

Great Hotel

You could not ask for a better location. Right in the heart of New Hope and walkable to many places (even across the bridge to Lambertville). Great decor and vibe. Very dog friendly. Most of this area is dog friendly with dog bowls outside and seating outside. The Logan Inn has a great restaurant that has a huge outdoor seating area that’s perfect to park your pooch, have a craft cocktail and people watch.

New Hotel

Great location right off 95 outside DC. New hotel. Rooms are modern and comfortable. VERY dog friendly. The staff loves having your pooch stay. Our dog received a collapsible bowl as a gift. You get a “normal” room (not a designated one with laminated floors and not taken care of). Great morning breakfast spread. Coffee/tea served all the time. Designated dog potty area and plenty of other grassy areas. Sidewalks to walk your dog. Olive Garden, Bob Evans, and an Indian restaurant across the street. Costco (with gas) Wegmans, and Trader Joe’s about a mile away. Great stop on a long road trip.

Hidden Gem With Authentic Food

I walked in and informed the server that we have a dog and are outside. She asked how many and told me to go ahead and sit down. She came out warmly greeting our pooch with a dog bowl of ice water (it was hot out). AMAZING Polish/Ukrainian food and Greek food (interesting combo but it works). Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. There are bakery items you can take home as well. Not your usual lunch spot. A treat to have authentic Polish/Ukrainian food. Smachnyy!!!

Beautiful Hotel

Beautiful hotel and rooms. You are warmly greeted when checking in. The second floor is the pooch floor and the rooms are not altered (all tile floors, older room, etc). The second floor has an automatic door in the back that is the ground level of garage access point. Between hotel and garage is a nice sized grassy area for your dog. Walkable to restaurants. We ate at Pale Fire Brewing which is an easy walk (and welcomed after a long drive) and very dog friendly with great suds and deep dish pizza.

Lovely Spot

They have tables outside in a lovely setting for you and your pooch. Free parking in the back. Just a really cute spot all around. The pastries looked great, but I ordered the avocado toast that was creatively constructed on a beautiful plate. The coffee was very good. The tourist center is connected to this cafe.

Dogs Welcome and Great Food (and Beer)

We stayed at the Madison Hotel (also very dog friendly with very nice rooms) and it was an easy walk to Pale Fire. It was trivia night later, so tables were starting to fill. We were allowed to have our pooch inside!!! The waitress even brought a bowl of water (in a real dog bowl). The guests (once they realized we had a dog) asked to pet her. Love their beer and deep dish pizza. Someone mentioned that their menu was limited. I disagree. It’s a brew house but not only do they have Detroit style deep dish (some amazing/not traditional combos and if you are boring, you can pick the usual toppings) they also have salads to start and many yummy looking sandwiches. Fun place, with a cool atmosphere, good food and beers, AND VERY dog friendly.

New(er) Hotel with Friendly Staff

Lots of new(er) hotels off this 95 exit (very easy to get on and off). Snagged a reservation calling BringFido directly two hours before. Easy check-in with treats for pups at desk. The entire staff during our stay was super friendly. Nice grassy doggy area in back. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very new. I like that the shower and toilet is a separate room from the sink (marriage saver). Pillows nice and soft (not foam bumpy). TV was sort of in a weird area and hard for one side of the bed to watch (could only swivel a little because of wall). Single coffee maker (not pods) in room.

They have a great breakfast spread in the morning that included scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, baked goods, breads for toasting, whole fruit, cut up fruit, yogurt, and cereals. Large indoor and outdoor area to eat or to relax. Coffee and tea available all day too (filled my Tervis for my trip home). We ate at the Mexican restaurant next door (if you want to eat there, they have a covered porch). Food was good and a menu of tequila drinks.

Only complaint is that it took forever to get hot water for shower. Once I did, it switched to cooler than hotter during shower (hubby had same issue an hour later). Nice to be in a hotel that truly welcomes pups, is not spartan, or the dog owners get a “special room” that’s all linoleum or beat up. There is also lots of shopping near hotel (Target, Barnes & Noble, a mall, and other restaurants from dine-in to drive-thru). Excellent stopping point if doing a Florida to NE trip.

Excellent Rooms and Service

No more compromising hotels because you have a dog or your dog is larger than 25 pounds. This hotel is directly across from the beach (get a beach view room), the hotel and rooms are new (not brand new, but modern and very comfortable), and the staff receive SIX bones. Easy to valet your car (beware, there is a $51 daily valet), the staff LOVES dogs (there is a dog bowl in lobby and treats at desk), and the staff is very attentive, happy, and welcoming.

The rooms are nice sized, rooms that non dog owners would receive, very nice bathroom (except they have a rain shower with a half glass wall which means water on the floor), Keurig in room, pool, restaurant (pet friendly), and plenty of green areas in front for pooch potty stops, and the beautiful beach right across the street.

This hotel is a little off the main area, but we liked that it was in the quiet section and about a 15/20 minute walk to the main drag. We walked with our dog to the Ritz to sit outside, have a craft cocktail and an amazing burger while looking at the ocean. The ONLY downside are the "extra" fees: $75 pet fee, $51 daily parking, AND $46 daily "resort fee" (for towels, etc that really should be baked into the room rate).

EXCELLENT Restaurant with or w/o Fido

Walking distance from our hotel (Courtyard Marriott). Later dinner due to trip arrival time. Seated promptly outside. Alex was our waiter and was very attentive and explained the menu. Cocktail menu is amazing. I ordered the Cosmo made with grapefruit vodka (yum). Hubby had Manhattan that had a twist to the recipe. We ended up getting the pre fix menu. I was in the mood for a salad and it was simple but perfect. Arugula with shaved fennel and parm, candied lemons, and a divine dressing. Hubby had a the soup (and I had a taste). The pasta starters were fantastic (lasagna and agnolotti with pork ragu in butter sage sauce). We both had the veal. So crispy outside, moist inside. Each were huge. Took half of each for leftovers. Desserts were a wonderful ending. Amazing that a high end restaurant welcomes dogs!!!

Great Food and Service

Most places were closed on Monday. Mario’s was open and had several outdoor tables. Our waitress was wonderful to our pup (brought fresh water) and the humans. Extensive Italian menu. I ordered the garden salad to start (lots of veggies) and they make their own Italian dressing. Hubby and I split a pizza that was yummy. They also serve beer and wine. It’s in a strip center with a grocery store and ice cream store.

Updated Hotel

Close to two major highways for easy access. The hotel was renovated several years ago and seems nicer than some Country Inns. VERY nice employees at location. Lots of parking and green space to walk your pup. Low puppy fee. However, the town is a little sleepy. We were there on a Monday and many restaurants were closed. We ate at Mario's nearby (need to drive a mile) that had outdoor seating and our pup was welcomed. Excellent Italian food.

Great Food, Coffee, Staff & Location

Plenty of outdoor seating behind building with shady areas too. The staff is soooo friendly (we were offered to go coffees). Food is amazing. Plenty of choices and very fresh. Hubby had the skillet breakfast with three meats and I had the egg pita with bacon. Serious coffee here too with a very extensive coffee menu and unlimited refills. Did not order any baked goods, but they looked awesome. There was a metal dog bowl for pooch, a water container outside, and a bathroom outside for humans. With or without a pooch this is worth the stop.

Perfect Pooch Spot

Our dog was greeted more warmly than we were😂. Beautiful outdoor space to dine and tables are not crammed. Lovely greenery to shade you and your pooch. They bring a water bowl for your pooch and continue to fill it. The food is amazing (ours and what we saw served to other tables). Highly recommend with or without a dog.

Charming, Clean, and GREAT Location

PERFECT location in the heart of Key West. You can walk to most everything. It’s situated on a quiet side street that’s half a block from the action. Love the check in (they send you your room number and room entry code). You have a parking spot in front of your room. Our room was in the front, ground floor. CHARMING and cute. Nice size living area with plenty of seating, high top dining table, and plenty of room for doggie crate. Small kitchen (but very adequate for our use) with a refrigerator, range, nice microwave. And they have a coffee maker (12 cup) and provide coffee, cream, and sugar (excellent coffee). Kitchen equipped with higher end plates, mugs, pans. They provide a recycling bin for your cans and bottles. Bathroom on the smaller size, but very nice. High end bath products not in small sample bottles, but all you can squirt. Window air units in all rooms. Sometimes a little noisy (when you are not used to them) but effective. VERY clean and comfortable. You feel like you are staying in someone’s home, not a hotel. Husband is already planning next years trip back here. Hidden gem.

Dog Friendly, Easy I-81 On & Off

Not the Ritz or Marriott, but clean and spacious rooms. Bathrooms look updated, had a good sized fridge, quiet air conditioner. Staff was SUPER FRIENDLY (both check in, and check out). It seems like they put the “dog families” on the left side of the hotel by the side exit where there is a nice sized spot for potty stops (they have a poop station). Although they didn’t have their buffet breakfast (due to Covid), they did bag one (to eat there or on the road). Coffee in lobby. Next door to Longhorn, Carrabba’s, gas station with a Seven 11. We had a beautiful evening and drove to I J Canns American Grill (lots of outdoor seating near shopping). Great place to stop overnight with a pooch.

Something for Everyone

Nice outdoor seating (lots of tables and spaced out). Greeted and seated right away. Signs posted to be patient due to staff shortage (Covid), but we had great, friendly service. Nice cocktail selection (and wine & beer). Menu had a variety of appetizers, sandwiches (hubby had rueben with yummy fries), burgers, traditional main (I had chicken Marsala with linguine), and kids menu. In a shopping center with a Talbots, Loft, chocolate shop, and more.

Unique Hotel - Worth It

Last minute reservation (2 hours out) coming through DC on a trip. Decor- not your usual Hilton/Marriott decor. Bathroom amazing. The biggest tv we have seen in a hotel (60 some inch). Very friendly check in and because they were short staffed, the maintenance guy stepped in to take our luggage and valet park our car. He was amazing… loved his job and so welcoming. Everyone loved seeing our dog (staff and guests). Water bowl and treat bowl in entrance of hotel. Walking distance to White House. Great restaurants close by (Logan Tavern for dinner and The Commissary for breakfast). Whole Foods close by too. Just a cool hotel with great service that loves dogs!
