Great for my dog
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ StatesvilleThe grounds were nice and felt safe but I’m not sure what the ‘plus’ was for at this Red Roof. No coffee maker in the room, no microwave or fridge. The TV was very small and very limited on channels unless you pay $20 for on demand. The only mirror was also very small, and for those of us with glasses, the raised sink wouldn’t let me bend over it to apply makeup. I stayed at a Red Roof in Walterboro that was $25 cheaper and had all of the above amenities. The bed was very comfy though & I like that they label the pillows based on firmness. The room was clean and I really appreciate that! Staff were nice and efficient. Very convenient to get to and a few close fast food restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I will look for another hotel with in-room coffee next time.

Red Roof Inn WalterboroThe room was very nice and clean. They’ve taken the time to update an older motel. Much better than expected for the price point. I felt safe and the parking lot was well lit for walking the dog before bed. Ruby Tuesdays & McDonalds were walking distance. Coffee in the room and also at the reservation desk. Perfect place to recharge on the way to Florida!
