Disappointing

I stay at La Quinta a lot because of their dog-friendly policies. This was a midway point on my way home from Florida. It was dirty, a little dank smelling, and I got the feeling it was barely cleaned between guests, if at all. I used a cloth to wipe up some spilled water and it came back black. The night desk attendant was unhelpful and reeked of weed. On another note, when I mentioned conditions to Assistant manager at check out, he said they changed management and are now in the process of renovating and refreshing everything. Hopefully when that's complete it will be a viable option. I stayed The Macon West La Quinta location on way to FL. It was marginally better, maybe 3 bones.
