Clean, comfortable but a little noisy
Best Western Cottage Grove InnMost everything about this property was great. The room was super clean, and the staff was very helpful. However I’d say avoid room 101 if you can. It’s either next to a laundry or some other part of the hotel where work is done behind the scenes. It was loud and disruptive trying to sleep. Still, I would stay there again because everything else was super
Worst hotel experience of my entire life
Quality Inn Central RoseburgIf it was possible to give this hotel a zero I would. After a long day on the road I arrive to a very friendly desk clerk. What transpired was not his fault. He sent me to a room which had dirty bedspreads wrinkled sheets as if someone had been on the bed and a not too clean looking bathroom.
He happily changed me to another room not once not twice but three times. circumstances were the same in each room he sent me to except the one that wasn’t even made up yet And the last one which was their flag ship dog sweet. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled like urine in the way a New York subway station smells like urine!
When I asked for a refund he said that was not possible. That to me is just terrible customer service.
I have stayed in many hotels and I’m no Pollyanna. I regularly stay in Motel 6, and I am also a camper so my standards are far from five star,But in the time of Covid you would think that cleanliness was on the top of every hotel’s priority list. That was not the case here. I would sleep in my car before I would ever consider that hotel again. I am disappointed.
Super Motel 6 but Pricey on July 4
Motel 6 Redding CA - NorthThis was a great Motel 6! It was very clean. The bed was pretty comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that for what you get at Motel 6 it was kind of a price gouge. It was the Fourth of July so I guess one can’t expect reasonable. It was $100, but I would definitely stay there again!
