Rather Disappointing

We ate at Sweet Basil's on a Friday evening. We chose this restaurant as it was listed on Bring Fido as dog friendly.

I was quite disappointed in the menu as their website shows a picture of a bacon-wrapped meat loaf, only to find out that was a one.special and not a regular menu item.

I had the Chicken Pot Pie and my wife had Dungeness Crab Cakes. The service was extremely slow. It was nearly 45 minutes from the time we ordered until our food arrived. Once it did arrive, the meal was somewhat disappointing. The pot pie was under seasoned and rather mundane. I have had better frozen pot pies from Trader Joe's. The crab cakes were ok, under seasoned and was served with what could have been grocery-store bagged greens. The total bill was around $60.00 including a $10.00 glass of Prosecco and $6.00 for a beer. They do offer a 10% discount for cash payment. On the plus side, they did have live music.

Save your money and just head to the grocery store.
