We had a comfortable stay, but it wasn't as clean as I'd expect for the price. There were particles of food on the carpet, filth on the floorboards and toilet, and so much hair on the carpet. I know this because I bring a lint roller to anywhere I stay. The person at the front desk when I checked in was rude and dismissive. However, when I checked out the next day, the attendant was pleasant. The bed was clean, thankfully. Felt safe and comfortable overall. The doors slam to the rooms and that is a little disturbing. They do slam you with a bunch of fees and taxes added to your bill, so be prepared for that.

We went to Houston so my girl (dog) could have specialty surgery. As far as doggie amenities, it's not a dog-focused hotel, but for the brief time my girl was in the hotel with me, she was comfortable and that's what matters to me. I never left her in the room unattended, so I can't speak to that. Previously, we had stayed at 2 other hotels in the area and Homewood Suites is the only one we'd return to.

The room was incredible: very clean, well-stocked kitchen, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and
everything functioned well, including the thermostat. The breakfast is great with a good variety of options and delicious. I didn't use the laundry nor the fitness room nor the pool. The TV was poor quality and had limited channels, but it was good enough. The shower was amazing.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the remainder of the staff. Overall, they were unpleasant to interact with. I'd smile and get a frown in return. At breakfast once, they had started to clean it up 15 minutes prior to the set time for breakfast to end (9am) and I asked if I could take something and the staff member scowled at me, stopped picking up the food, and
walked away. So, other than a couple uncomfortable interactions with the staff, the hotel itself was great and we'll be returning if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

La Quinta is my go-to while traveling because they're reliable enough. This location is great in terms of the airport transportation with the free shuttle. The front desk staff were all friendly and let me check in a few hours early. I was nervous to leave my 10 month-old Shih-tzu in the room alone, but she did very well and was safe and comfortable at the hotel, which were the most important to me. It's a quiet hotel, even being so close to the airport. The room was decently clean. My only real concern were the tiny bugs I'd randomly spot around the room; it wasn't infested from what I could tell, because I only spotted them a few times over 3 days. They may have been tiny ants. I didn't get any bites and neither did my little girl. The carpet was a little gross - I lint rolled a few times and got all of the invisible hairs still on the carpet. The bed was very comfortable, the fridge and microwave worked well, the shower was pretty good for a hotel shower - good pressure and temperature control, clean. Good TV connection, thermostat control. Overall, very happy with our stay here.

They have soo many cute (and humorous) things for you and your pup! Lady at the counter was very friendly. I went back twice, there's so much to look at!

Many quaint shops and architecture. Great spot for impulse buys, etc. Mikey enjoyed his time walking around. Many of the shops are pet-friendly (for little guys, at least)!

Dogs aren't allowed inside anywhere, but, they have a fast-service to-go window (bring cash!) where you can order anything to go. I got some food and coffee and sat with my pup on the benches to the side, no problem. There was someone doing karaoke in the street, so that was entertaining. Food and coffee were good, staff wasn't very friendly, but they're a busy, popular spot.

Stay was (almost) perfect. Very close to almost everything you'd want to get out of NOLA. Acceptably clean, staff was helpful, TV has lots of channels. There was hot water from the faucet, but not from the shower, so I had to take a cold one (which I didn't mind enough to make a complaint). City views were okay - nothing exceptional. Everything else was great. Mikey had the best time. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was helpful, courteous. The room was pretty well-kept for a Motel 6. Hardwood floor was clean. Didn't use the shower nor the TV. I had no issues leaving my baby there for a few hours. The location is somewhat questionable. I like that after dark, they had the parking lot blocked off and it would have been difficult to get in or out without talking to a staff member. It was a Friday night and there were a couple groups of people drinking in the parking lot.

It could be a bit cleaner, but it is fairly priced. Front desk is friendly. Decent location. My baby was perfectly comfortable here and there we no issues at all.

This La Quinta location was a huge disappointment. It started off with trash and food and broken glass in the parking lot. Also, the building is obviously not well-kept. Next I went into the office and the smell is just foul. The woman at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. I was the only person in the lobby and she took time to finish what she was doing before she looked up and said anything. I was informed of the $20 pet fee, while BringFido said there was no fee. Upon entering the room, I was hit in the face with the smell of mold and cigarettes, even though it was a non-smoking room, and there were cigarette burns up and down the bathtub. Carpet was stained, had a few spots where things had been squashed into it, and it was sticky. You and your belongings will leave smelling like this foul place. A couple lamps were broken so it was very dimly lit. The shower worked well, good water temperature and pressure. The bath towels smelled like cigarettes. The mini fridge worked well. The A/C and heating worked well. I honestly didn't even stay the night so I cannot review the bed or TV. I didn't feel safe, nor did I feel my belongings were safe there. Not to mention the price was astronomical for the condition of the room. Disgusting place.

Professional, friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms, very spacious. Nice amenities. My baby was perfectly happy here, will definitely return when in Plano/Dallas.

Room was clean enough. Staff was a little rude and didn't understand my English very well. Breakfast was nice. My baby Mikey was happy with his stay.
