Live in DC and adopted a 1 year old pup recently. She is a ball of energy and loves hiking, dog parks and other pups. Always looking for where we can include her when traveling or just going out around town.

Limited seating for your dog, good for grab and go
West Main Street MarketThe place is cute and good if it is nice weather. We happened to be on a misty day and the outdoor seating was not well covered. Limited seating inside as well. On a sunny day this would be a great spot. The menu is decent, though we did find the staff a little rude.

Best Meal and Restaurant of our Mini-Honeymoon
Gathering Grounds Patisserie & CafeSpent 3 days in Shenandoah National Park on our honeymoon and decided to get out of the park one day to try some other food and see town. The weather ended up not being great as it was a bit cool and rainy but this place had a great back patio that is so cute and has lots of cover. The waitstaff showed no complaint waiting on us outside despite the weather. Also the food was DELICIOUS! That is coming from us humans and our pup which they may have bribed with a little pupachino (which was so cute and she enjoyed so much licking the cream off her nose). Will certainly be back here and highly recommend if weather is great or rainy!

Fun Venue that Welcomes Dogs
Wunder GartenIt can be a busy place so sometimes we don't stay long as our pup gets overwhelmed, but they cater to dogs, providing a stack of self service dog bowls and lots of spots for your pup to chill with you. See lots of pups here and they are always good with the other dogs there. So long as your dog is good with mild crowds and noise of a bar I recommend.

Were great with our dog
Espita MezcaleriaLove this restaurant and decided to bring our dog for the first time when coming for brunch. They found us a table in less traffic of an area and brought us a dog bowl, that they kept refilling when filling our water glasses. It is a bit tight if you have a large dog, but for our 25lb dog that does well out it was perfect. They were so polite and kind towards us and our pup despite concerns based on past reviews.

Nice little neighborhood spot
Republic CantinaNice spot with limited taco menu. Only a few tables outside but dog friendly. Good spot for a morning coffee or evening cocktail.

Great Place for Pups
Virtue Feed & GrainThey have about 15 tables outside that dogs allowed and have dog bowls and a dog menu to spoil your pup. Best spot in Alexandria for brunch with your pup!
