The worst. You’re better off sleeping in your car.

The desk person was very friendly. That’s the only good thing about this place.

We were given a room on the third floor. When we got off the elevator, we were hit with a wave of heat and smell. No air conditioning and it smelled like the day after a fraternity party. There was an industrial air freshener machine attached to a wall hissing out some sort of wine cooler smell that did nothing to mask the cigarette smoke. This is a non-smoking hotel.

We got to our room and it hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty towels, beer cans, unmade beds. We got another room and the smoke smell was overpowering. The dog wouldn’t even go into the room. We got a third room and it was as good as it gets, I think. The beds were made but there were hairs and crumbs in them. The toilet wouldn’t flush until I fixed it. The dog wouldn’t walk around the room-it made him nervous. As we had no other options, we stayed, but it was hit and dirty and smelly.

I’m guessing the third floor used to be a smoking floor and now it’s the dog floor, but the a/c units were never cleaned so they just blow (weakly) foul air.

Just keep driving.
