Good hotel, close to the lake.

Lake Placid Summit Hotel is a great hotel, due to its close proximity to Mirror Lake.

Yes, the hotel is dog friendly, but a hotel will go above and beyond and prepare a treat bag for your dog upon your arrival. A little goes a long way. However, Summit Hotel did not provide something special of the sort, so for that, I give 4 bones instead of 5! :-)
