Nice but the agreement I had to sign...

This Sheraton is a lovely hotel in a great location. But, the waiver I had to sign to have my dog with me gave me pause. One stipulation was that I schedule room cleaning when we could be there with the dog. Another was that the dog not be left alone in the room? WHAT?! They didn't enforce this but by the letter of what I signed someone would have had to stay with the dog at all times. The manager who checked me in also said I didn't need to schedule the cleaning. But that said, our house keeper was afraid of our crated dog and wouldn't come in to make up the room until I took her for a walk.

My kids loved the pool. (Thought it was cold.) My husband did not love that the Starbucks wasn't a full service / full menu one. I sent him to bring back breakfast for the family while I walked the dog. Not only did they not have the usual breakfast sandwiches but by 10:00 they were almost out of bagels.

The staff was very nice.

Love this hotel.

We've stopped her two years in a row on our way to visit family in Vermont after Xmas. The staff couldn't be nicer. The hotel is freshly remodeled and nicely appointed. The location right off Congress Park means there's a lovely area to walk the dog. Or, stroll down the streets behind the hotel to admire the old mansions.

The restaurant staff went above and beyond for us. My daughter was stealing the breakfast potatoes off my plate. Our server heard her say how much she loved them and brought some out in a go box for her to take with us.

The pool indoor pool looks inviting but we've never had enough time for a dip. And we're told the outdoor pool is nice too.

We want to go back to Saratoga Springs in the summer just so we can stay here longer.
