Disappointed

We've stayed at this establishment several times now and always had a good experience. We are giving it a 2 because the staff have always been nice, helpful and pleasant. They provide continental breakfast included with your room and bake fresh cookies daily and for the money the rooms are fairly good sized. They are accepting of pets, the pet fee is very reasonable and they don't have a size limitation. The hotel itself has become a bit run down. The rooms seem clean, but our sink wouldn't drain and although we requested maintenance, it didn't drain properly for the extent of our stay which indicates it was never got repaired. The A/C was loud and smelled of mildew. There was a rag stuffed in a hole in the wall under the desk. The bathroom window didn't open and close properly. The front window screen was damaged as if someone had tried to break in and the door handle fell off. Needless to say, it was a bit of a disappointment.
