Comfortable but needs updating

The location was convenient just off the Interstate and gas stations and restaurants plentiful. (Cracker Barrel next door). Lobby is nice and Octavia (front desk) greeted us graciously. My 7 year old Lab and I were given a first floor room ( King bed) unfortunately the carpet from the lobby down the hall and into the room ( also upstairs) was worn and stained -- not an attractive first impression. The linens on the bed looked dingy, but the bathroom was well lit and clean. The green area ( for dogs) is a bit limited but there is a sidewalk and other green space surrounding the location. A little updating would go far!
