Do not stay

I booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and 1 child on September 22 for 1 night at the Quality Inn in Corinth, Ms to break up long road trip. If it had not been for the 3 people I was traveling with I would have requested my money back and left. I asked for non smoking rooms and ended up with a room that smelled like someone was standing in front of the air conditioner vent smoking. The room has a sign that clearly states No Smoking and a $150 fee will be charged if it is smoked in. The ceiling is black, not too sure if it’s mold or tar from cigarette smoking and the shower is dirty. We did not bring shower flip flops so we did not take showers. I ended up sleeping in my car for 4 hours because my chest had tightened up to the point where I could not breathe. Each time I enter the room i feel the need to scrub my body in antibacterial soap and scalding hot water. Choice Hotels is a quality brand so it baffles me why they have added such a run down unsanitary hotel to their portfolio. This will be my last stay in a Choice Hotel
