Security lacking
Candlewood Suites Hot Springs an IHG HotelLimited grass area for dogs but bags were provided. They got the reservation right and gave the dogs biscuits. The reason for 3 stars is due to limited (if not non-existent) security. Three trucks were broken into during the night, two of which were parked right next to ours. The thieves were run off by one of the truck owners. The police didn't seem particularly concerned and the hotel said their security had just left to rotate to another property. This is really scary since our dog needed to go out about an hour before this happened so I was in the parking lot alone.

District 3 Hotel Ascend Hotel CollectionWe reserved a king room but were told that they only had a queen when we arrived to check in. Fortunately, I had my confirmation provided by BringFido and was able to talk to a representative that confirmed that they had spoken to someone at the hotel about the pet friendly room. The hotel gave us a king room even though it wasn't pet-friendly. The hotel has a great enclosed dog park that is big enough to play a little as well as a place for doing their business.
