Beautiful room in the heart of Carmel

We had such a nice time at this hotel. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and the location of this hotel is close to dozens of shops and restaurants. Our room was wonderful. It was clean and seemed to have to have been newly renovated with a gas fireplace, a large bathroom with heated floors and jetted soaker tub. The bed was comfortable. The only thing I’d say could use improvement is their breakfast was a little bland. I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area that have offered a better breakfast. Also the walls are a little thin, I could definitely hear our neighbors upstairs.
I was grateful that this location is dog friendly and had no problems booking thru this website. It was nice that they knew I had a dog with me. All the standard rules applied (not to leave the dog in the room alone, no dogs in the area where people are eating, etc.). There is a table inside by the registration desk where we were allowed to sit and eat with our dog, so it was nice to sit inside for breakfast.
