Goodbread is one luxurious dog House

Goodbread House

GoodBread House is a beautiful Victorian-era house with 4 dog friendly rooms. At the time of this review, they charge no pet fees or pet deposits. We stayed in the Gable-Lombard suite which offers plenty of room for both humans and their furry friends. The bed in the room was exceptionally comfortable and both my wife and I got a peaceful nights rest. The suite had a tub/shower combo, make-up table, king-size bed and chairs in 2 rooms of the house. The furniture was placed well and as a result, feels uncrowded.

They serve a delicious full hot breakfast. It was pancakes and sausage the morning that we were there. It is served in a parlor of the house. There are also books and restaurant menus, sofas and chairs to sit in, in this common area. At night they leave wine and fresh homemade baked goods out as well. There are also a couple of small fridges in the common area. The accommodations are very snug.

St. Marys, itself, is a very dog-friendly historical town on the St. Mary's river with a quaint downtown area, antebellum homes and beautiful parks. The downtown area has several restaurants, taverns and antique shoppes. St. Mary's is also just a short boat ride away from beautiful Cumberland Island and it's wild horses. It is a great place for those looking for a charming, discreet and picturesque get away.
