Excellent service and perfect for holiday travel

We commend the management here as the service upon entering the hotel and throughout our stay was warm and courteous. The manager(?) overseeing check-in really made us feel welcomed by being so wonderful with our pup. As weary holiday travelers making a last minute reservation at this hotel on New Year's Eve, we were pleasantly surprised at the efforts of the staff and time they took to make sure we (especially our pup) would have an enjoyable stay. Location near the Strip is great, pet fee is very low for Vegas and rooms are clean. A bonus if you happen to be there on New Year's Eve and have a room facing the Strip is you get a wonderful view of the fireworks displays from multiple casinos yet it was relatively quiet enough that our dog was not bothered.

We're pretty low-maintenance travelers, bring all our own pet supplies, and our dog will happily walk anywhere to go potty so I can't speak to any of the pet-specific amenities. However, when we ran out of doggie poop bags they generously provided us with a roll in a cute Westin-branded dispenser. Thanks Westin Las Vegas, we'd definitely stay here again with our pup!
