Hotel in disrepair
La Quinta by Wyndham Lakeland WestThe 2 bones are for the staff here, they were lovely and kind. The physical condition of the hotel was a bit of a shock. Many areas including the front desk appear to be in a state of stalled out renovation. The elevator was dirty and beat up, the wallpaper is sagging, the hallways smelled funky and in our room the carpet and curtains were badly stained. Lesson learned not all La Quinta Inns are created equal. The one in Brunswick, GA is immaculate.

Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelWe’ve now enjoyed 2 stays at The Brice, a Kimpton Hotel in Savannah, GA. Both were arranged for us through BringFido.
From the minute you arrive till you the time you sadly drive away, you and your dog are treated with genuine kindness and hospitality. Not only do they ‘get’ people who travel with their pets, they’ve made it possible to have a true boutique hotel experience at the same time. This is so rare, and so appreciated. We will absolutely return and are happy recommend this hotel whether you travel with pets or not.
