Convenient overnight location, but...

We like the new look of Red Roof Inns, and appreciate their dog friendliness. But we expect the room floor to have been mopped before we arrive—or at least sometime within a few days of arrival! Not so here. In the time it took us to change clothes to go out for dinner, my bare feet were black with dirt! We wouldn’t leven et our dog lie on the floor after seeing that! Had to give both him and me a foot bath before doing anything else! (Hubs had to change socks.) Rest of the room was nicely cleaned, so I suppose it could have been an oversight— but more than one day’s “oversight” for sure! Hope mgt. spotchecks from now on out!
