Disappointed

Wonderful location, right on the beach, lots of dogs. The giant downfall was that the smoke detectors were being serviced at 10:00 PM! Finally had gotten my dog to relax, turned off the lights, and the smoke detector starting beeping. Called to front desk and was told maintenance is working on it and should be done in five minutes. Waited and sure enough the beeping stopped. Got my dog relaxed again and turned off the light to go to sleep and the beeping starting again plus flashing light. Went for a walk outside at 11:00 PM with my dog to try to calm him down and make sure nothing was burning. Slept with the light on for fear of smoke detector going off again. Add to that the walls seem to be super thin as we were able to hear every sound neighboring rooms made. It was a rough night!
