I can’t believe folks gave this a low rating! It was a perfect pit stop with our girls. Lots of grassy area and picnic tables to eat at. It’s true about them not having their own cheese but it was still stocked with a large variety of cheeses, sauces, etc.

He pooches and I could have stayed here all day. They were super welcomed and they even have a charcuterie puppy bowl with meats and fried egg. The human food and drinks were amazing also!:-)

We loved our hike today with Amber! She guided us to the most beautiful spot to hike and play in the snow with our pooches. She is a dog lover just like us so huge bonus!!! Our dogs absolutely loved it. Kallie kept getting the zoomies over and over because she was so happy. We have never been to Big Bear so this was a perfect introduction to the area. We highly recommend booking a hike with Amber! The cherry on top was a little Baileys and Coffee too 😁.

At the end of the walking path on the northern part of zephyr cove beach is great for pooches. This time of year is perfect, hardly anyone around and great hiking temperatures for the pooches.

This place has amazing food & the family that runs it are just as amazing. The owner came by our table & chatted for a bit & then as we were leaving we chatted with his wife & let her know how amazing the food was and also the atmosphere in her garden. I was admiring one of her large succulents & she gave me 3 clippings off of it to bring home. 😍 They are also super dog friendly and even had their huge dog trotting around the outdoor garden dining area. Gypsy got lots of love from the family that run the business as well as a lot of the folks enjoying lunch. Just super good vibes all around. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Great food, super nice people, & very kind to our 14year old pooch.

Our pooch loved the stay here and so did we. The rooms are large (old furnishings but still nice), fireplace, and balcony. We recommend the river view rooms for sure! So amazing to sleep with the sound of the river.

this is one of those places that says no dogs…..but when we went at sunset we asked the people there and no one had an issue with our 14 years old Shar Pei. she actually got lots of love from the folks out there!

In town for business & brought our 14 year old pup. This restaurant was so welcoming, brought her a water dish, dog biscuits, & grilled her a chicken breast. The people food was spectacular also. We actually came here two nights in a row because we felt so welcomed & the menu was so delicious. highly recommend.

Lake was bone dry unfortunately. Super bummer 😢

We just had an amazing breakfast & everyone was super sweet to our Gypsy girl. Gypsy even had a plate of eggs 😊❤️
