Wonderful Stay
The Smart Stay InnFirst dog stays free! It was super clean! Nice pool, nice dog park area, and friendly staff. The beds were clean and comfortable. The floors were mostly hardwood and clean. Would stay again if in the area!
DIRTY And Falling Apart
Red Roof Inn & Suites Knoxville EastThe door knobs to go in the building as well as our bathroom door knob was falling off. We were traveling for an interview and didn’t have a lot of money for a room. But based on reviews tried here. I had to literally clean the entire rooms. There was pieces of trash on the bathroom sink, there was hardened on stuff on the headboards, the floors looked clean however quickly turned your feet black, the toilet paper holder was taped in, and the remote was taped.
Outdated/Falling Apart/BUT CLEAN BEDS
Best Western Plus Augusta North Inn & SuitesThey are have remodeled two floors completely. However if you are staying with a pet you must be in their old rooms. The couch and chairs were so dirty we wouldn’t let our kids touch them. The carpet was old but seemed to be clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. The carpet was coming up at the threshold, the lampshades were cracked, and the desk had been chewed. It wouldn’t have been as bad if there was a discount for having to be in their old rooms, but you pay full price plus a pet fee.
Bed Bugs
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pigeon ForgeWhen we opened the door it smelled horrible! It smelled like mildew and urine. We walked in turned the air on and pulled the bed linens back to check like we do anytime we stay in a hotel. The beds were covered in black specks. We googled bedbug poop and it matched the results to a “T”. We went to the front desk and informed them and said we would be leaving. He didn’t speak English so all he could say is “he will email.” The next day the manager called and left a voicemail apologizing for “the lint” on the beds. Do not stay here!!
