Pets welcomed

Clean room, pleasant staff, and it felt like dogs were truly welcomed rather than merely tolerated. Not the Ritz, but several steps above Motel 6. Fridge, microwave, on-site 24 hr café - no complaints there. Next to freeway, but double windows very effective at muting noise. And the hotel actually did supply pet waste bags despite what the description says. would definitely stay again.

Unsafe, worst ever hotel

I can't believe another reviewer gave this place 5 bones. It's true that there are nice grassy areas for the dog, but the hotel itself is scary. My room had (1) a leaky kitchen drainpipe with a large puddle flowing out into the room (2) muddy shoe and paw prints in the obviously uncleaned bathroom (3) worst of all, an UNLOCKABLE room door - neither the regular latch nor the deadbolt works. From outside it's possible to slam the door multiple times and get it to lock, but from inside nothing that doesn't even work. It's late in the day and I'm stuck here now and just have to hope nobody feels like breaking in. So maybe 1/2 bone for the grassy area, but 1 is even too much.

Zero bones if I could

Stay Away! Yes they take dogs, but I reserved in the kitchenette-studio half of the property. There was a $100 damage deposit for these rooms, unmentioned in either the web description or my confirmation. (The deposit was unrelated to pets - there's also a $10 per night pet fee.) Condescending desk staff wouldn't explain why, but just offered a room in the other section, which was unacceptable to me as I'd planned on having a fridge and cooking facilities. Then they tried to get me to pay the deposit in cash by threatening several weeks to get it back if I used a card.

The room was dirty and in poor condition - used washcloth in the (uncleaned?) shower, stains and holes in the bed linens, rust and chipped paint on multiple surfaces. I informed staff of the issues, and they claimed housekeeping takes pics of rooms after every checkout, so they'd already know about the damage and I wouldn't be charged for it. I'm skeptical, and in suspense about my $. Wads of presumably used TP, an empty TP roll, some other trash under the stairwell. YUCK! Unusable Internet, although I expect that at Motel 6. Had to hook my computer up to 3G phone hotspot.

No complaints

Friendly staff, OK refurbished older motel with first floor pet-friendly rooms, and a park for walks just a couple blocks away. Fridge with a working freezer a plus.
