Fabulous Fido Friendly

The Stella Hotel is exceptionally Fido friendly. There is a $50 deep cleaning additions pet fee, therefore, all rooms are pet friendly rooms, as I understand it. Just outside the main entrance and across the driveway was a designated grassy spot for pets. There were plenty of walking trails around the property. Patrons and staff greeted my pup with a friendly word. The room was beautifully appointed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The resort pool looked really appealing, but, swimming didn’t fit in with our plans. The in-house restaurant, Campfire, was delicious. With Covid going around, the bar was closed. We were able to get any drink we wanted, while at Campfire. Everything about our stay was awesome! I’ll definitely stay at The Stella again, the next time we need an overnight stay in College Station.

Great stay!

This was our first stay at the Huntsville Red Roof Inn, with our Shih Tzu. We had a tough time finding a “nice” hotel that was pet friendly in Huntsville, so, decided to take our chances at Red Roof Inn since they had good reviews.

The front desk lady was super friendly. The motel interior was updated. The exterior needed some updating, that I learned the new owners are in the process of doing.

I liked the vinyl plank floor through our guest room, just in case our dog had an accident, which she didn’t. Our bed was perfect. The pillows comfy. Even the shower had new tile surround. The fridge and microwave were a plus. We were able to leave her in the room, unattended, while we went out for drinks.

They have a self-serve Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby that made some pretty awesome fresh coffee, by the cup. There was plenty of grass around the property and adjacent properties for a nice morning walk.
There were no additional pet fees and we didn’t have to keep Delilah crated while we were out. She was a happy camper and we were happy, too! Our maiden voyage with one small dog was a great success.
