Great Location
Oak Creek TerraceMy dogs and I loved exploring the creek. The room, #12, was comfy, cozy and had everything we needed (adding a few hooks by the door and a shelf, drawer, or small wardrobe for clothes would be the only change we suggest). For our winter stay it was great having a fireplace. We'll be back in warmer weather to enjoy the patio, grill, and hammocks!
Unique Stay!
Hotel McCoy - Art Coffee Beer WineThis place is unique, fun, and definitely dog friendly! The room had everything we needed and was super clean. Loved the art and the chalkboard. The pet relief area is nice and very clean but fake grass, gravel, and cactus are difficult for my pups; they like a bush or two to go behind. A slight upgrade to this area and this is a 5 bones place for sure!
A Quiet Pretty Spot
Amarillo Botanical GardensThis is a small garden but it was very well kept, quiet, and had shady spots to rest. The Koi pond area was particularly nice. The downside is they are very strict about dogs not touching the shrubs and plants in beds lining narrow paths. Understandable but tough on curious pups with so many wonderful smelling things they wanted to sniff.
Great Dog Park!
Critter Camp Bark ParkI wish I had this at home! The water feature wasn't there when I went but it was still a great roadtrip stop for the dogs. Will definitely stop agai. when in the area. Bonus . . . benches in the shade.
