Very cute inn!
Royal Copenhagen InnI was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the Royal Copenhagen Inn. It looks like a cute little Danish village. The room was a nice size with 2 queen beds. I had a 1st floor room as requested, making it very easy to bring in the luggage and take the pup out. There is an enclosed dog relief area. The location was walkable to many shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I wanted to go wine tasting and the hotel clerk gave me a list of wineries and highlighted those that were dog friendly. I also appreciated having a complimentary breakfast delivered to my door. I hope to visit Solvang again and would want to stay here again as well.

Excellent place for pets!
Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Airport Liberty StationMy condo complex was being tented for termites and I thought it would be very stressful to find a place for my dog and cat. I was pretty happy how easy it was to find pet friendly hotels and I feel I got a pretty good rate as it was a holiday weekend. I stayed in a one bedroom suite and it had all the comforts I needed to feel like a home. The location was great for walking my dog and enjoyed a beautiful view. I was so close to a variety of good restaurants too. I originally planned to stay for 3 nights but extended it another night. When it was time for check out, I was relieved my cat was unable to hide under the bed as it is blocked off. I thought that was genius for a pet friendly room. It was very stressful having to evacuate my home with animals, but this hotel made it a much more enjoyable experience.
