Good For Pets, Bad For Humans

Aloft Boston Seaport District

Booked this hotel because of excellent reviews and pet friendly policies. While they were indeed nice to our pet, the rest of the experience was shocking. Large groups of drunken teens screaming while taking unmasked selfies in the halls and in the lobby during a pandemic. Neighbors blasting music and yelling, keeping us awake at night. The parking lot, which they make you pay almost $30/day to use, is rather far away from the hotel. No cups
or glasses in the room. They wouldn’t let my wife check in to the hotel because it was booked with my credit card. Front desk explained to her that once upon a time, a wife had come by and demanded access to her husbands room, went up there to find him cheating on her and proceeded to cut all his clothes up with a pair of scissors. And apparently for this reason she would be forced to stand in the lobby with our dog waiting for me for half an hour as I was on a work call that I couldn’t leave, to check in. Carpet was gross, bed was poorly made, AC very loud. Truly surprised by all the good reviews on here.
