Safety Issues

I have been going here for many years - with 2 of my dogs...it has since changed ownership. I usually have a great experience HOWEVER - what occurred today is too important not to mention because it is a SAFETY issue. Not only was my 18 lb pomeranian given the haircut opposite to my instructions, but when I went to pick him up - I found the little guy wandering in the busy parking lot!!!!! I was HORRIFIED. Thank goodness I got there when I did because he could have been stolen - or worse - killed by a car - the parking lot also is adjacent to a busy 3 lane street!!! When I went in to ask what happened, the girl at the register kept saying he was "in his cage"..if that was true - why was he wandering in the busy parking lot???? Her mother then told me she took him out of the cage and left the door open and lost sight of my dog when she went to tend to another dog!!! we TRUST any groomer to care for our animals. I don't like having my dog's life at risk nor do I like being lied to.....These animals are a LIFE - like our toddlers - and safety and security MUST always come first.......when I attempted to pay, they refused to charge me - which was the right thing to do - but I would rather pay for the service feeling confident my dog is in a SAFE place.....
