Great property, dreadful service

Beautiful rambling property with plenty of space. The decent food in the restaurant was let down by hopeless service (pleasant and well-meaning staff but they didn’t stand a chance with poor management and not enough people). This wouldn’t be a problem usually but there is absolutely nowhere else decent to eat around there.
Overall a nice place to visit but room to improve.
