One of few pet friendly hotels in the city.

The Red Roof in, though conveniently located and one of just a few pet-friendly hotels in Greenwood, SC, is just OK. Our room smelled like a dog from a previous visit and the sheets on our bed were not clean - we found hairs on both the sheets and the pillowcases. The front desk staff was attentive and gave us new sheets and pillowcases, apologized profusely and made a note for the owners and housekeepers. I'm not certain we would stay here again. I think paying the $15/day pet fee at the Days Inn might have been worth it. We'll definitely stay there next time we visit relatives in Greenwood, SC.
