Location was the only positive
Extended Stay America Suites Washington DC Fairfax Fair OaksThe room actually stunk. The furniture was in a state of disrepair and dirty. There were at least 2 rubber bands on the floor so it appeared that the floor was dirty. At least the bathroom was clean. Never will I stay in an Extended Stay property again.

Candlewood Suites Winchester
Candlewood Suites Winchester an IHG HotelMy husband and I have never stayed at a Candlewood and selected this hotel because we planned to bring our dog. We were so happily surprised at the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was wonderful - nice and large, the king bed was so comfortable too. We appreciated having the fridge, a large desk area and more than enough drawer space. Toiletries provided were one of my favorite brands - JR Watkins. That was a great surprise too. The staff was very courteous and friendly to our pup - there were treats for her at the front desk. We would definitely look for Candlewood the next time we travel with our pups.
