They almost got a 4 because of the guests!
Days Inn by Wyndham ShallotteOnce again, drunks met us at the door coming in the first night with Jerry Springer style side shows with cops. The Price was right but then the door was a mess the entire stay unable to open it directly hanging up we had to force it open every with a shoulder bump. The toilet ran all night with a rotted flap so I had to cut the water on and off manually, there was a roach on the wall and after the complaint they sprayed our room for us to choke on the fumes when we came back from dinner. The pool was open 9-6 everyday, but was dirty green from guests not showering before they went swimming. The staff did the best they could inspite of the COVID19 restrictions, were cordial and helpful and the hotels only saving grace.Everything was clean, the TV was a postage stamp with intermittent Direct TV CRAP service. Internet service was fast. Bottom line, we will not return.

Red Roof Inn Myrtle Beach Hotel - Market CommonBike week, drunk bikers were loud waking and scaring the dog every 2 hours from midnight to dawn, not all of them had dogs, one room had 12 Mexicans in it drinking beer sleeping on inflated mattresses. The STAFF however wen the extra mile on welcoming us and unlike the next hotel we are staying at, having a coin laundry was very nice. With the restrictions imposed for Covid19, no pool, smoking areas located in direct sunlight by busy exits meant for confrontations by grumpy hungover wanna be bikers. Stay away during bike week to be sure unless you and your dog are party animals.
