Pomeranian Prince Honeybear

We've been coming to Beachfront Inn for years. Rooms are clean and many look at the beautiful lake. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Prince Honeybear always has a great time.

Since our first stay, the Ridge has now become the Lodge at Geneva National, and new owners have the building under construction. Room was clean but dated with few amenities. Many dog owners left their dogs alone, which is against hotel policy. Dog fee of $75 per dog is steep especially for a short stay and $24 a day resort fee seems unfair in winter when all you can use is the pool and the hot tub is freezing cold. This visit was disappointing.

I've been going to Paws for Treats for years. You can find healthy food and treats along with the cutest toys. My Pomeranians love Paws for Treats and are welcomed warmly.

This store on Galena's Main Street welcomed me and my Pomeranian pup Prince. Great selection of pet products from treats to toys.

My pup loves playing here. Although they have mostly big dogs, my little dog gets to play with friends of his size.

This store welcomes dogs and carries all kinds of fun home goods, novelty items and clothes.

Our hotel room wasn't available yet so we stopped at Miss Kitty's for the best sweet potato pizza and blueberry mojito. My pup got a bowl of water and a soft couch.

Me and my Pomeranian Prince Honeybear liked this hotel. It was clean and rooms for dogs are on the first floor in the back. Staff friendly and breakfast was good, with eggs and pancakes and strong coffee.

The views of the countryside and ravines are gorgeous. Unfortunately, people drive so fast, it's difficult to appreciate.

This motel property gave me and my Pomeranian Prince a relaxing trip. The room was clean and bathroom was updated. Furniture in room had seen better days and A/C unit provided a moldy smell. Luckily, we were able to open window. Outdoor patio restaurant on property had great views and drinks. People working at resort were friendly and liked dogs.

Grand Geneva is very dog friendly. All the staff took time to pet my Pomeranian Prince. Our room was on the ground floor with a terrace, making it so easy to walk the pups while enjoying the beautiful views of lake and rolling hills. I highly recommend this resort even with its slightly hefty dog fee of $65 a night for one dog ($75 for 2 dogs under 25 lbs.).
