La Quinta by Wyndham Grants PassThe room was nice and clean. Granted, the potty area is not much, but if you just walk down the driveway, there is a long strip of grass that my dogs found perfectly acceptable. Staff was friendly and breakfast was yummy. We will stay here every time we come through with our dogs.

Quality Inn Elk Grove-SacramentoBased on the reviews, we expected a decent place to stay. Unfortunately, it was not good. Our room was tiny, noisy, hot and not clean. The fridge was mini, the remote had the batteries taped in. A mostly bad experience. The only thing that was a positive is that there was plenty of green grass for pets to go.

It works
Bridge Street InnThe first time we stayed here, we got a decent room, the second time we got a tiny one. Both rooms were old, but extremely clean. The pet area is really nice and well maintained. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. Location also good for walking.

No place to potty your dog
Western InnThe room was fine, but the dog run was so filthy that I wouldn’t let my dog take a step inside. I would give a higher rating for the hotel on its own, but since this is supposed to be about the dogs, I have to give a low review. The next nearest place to go was across a huge truck stop and far. Dangerous and noisy, not dog friendly.

Never Again
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham StocktonThis place was awful. While I was in the lobby some man came in dripping blood. He had just been attacked while sitting in his car in the parking lot. Many people loitering in and around the parking lot, yelling and making us feel uncomfortable. Then there’s the room. It’s very old and dirty, furniture stained, even a ring inside the toilet bowl. And it took me several minutes to get out of the door because someone had tried to pry the door open and the metal door jam is all bent. Absolutely the worst, unsafe place I have ever stayed. I agree the front desk people were friendly.
